My sister and I discovered Victorian Choice through the recommendation of another costume aficionado, and within minutes we had each found our dream Victorian dresses. She received her dress first, and we couldn’t believe the impeccable quality of the garment. We’re so excited to wear our gowns to the Dickens Festival!

We buy costumes from here because of the quality. Multiple dress rehearsals plus 4 weekends of performances put a lot of wear and tear on a costume. You can’t cheap out. You don’t want to be constantly repairing or risking a tear, no matter how cheap it was. Pay for good quality and you won’t be sorry.
Our dresses are often used on stage, in front of cameras, and at special events. But seeing them depicted in oil paintings on canvas is truly something special🥰💃🏻
The painting “Opening”, 30”x36” by talented portrait artist, Deborah Macy, with Victorian Choice dress as costume prop, and Deborah’s step daughter Alicia Willbanks as model, was exhibited at The Salamagundi Club on Fifth Avenue in New York, as part of the CLWAC 124th Exhibition. It was also showcased online at The Cape Cod Art Center Regional Exhibit👏🌸

Gorgeous time-traveler, @sp00kshowbabe, dressed as an 18-century woman when visiting @pabstmansionmke, a grand Flemish Renaissance Revival-styled house built in 1892 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Captain Frederick Pabst. I can’t stop wondering when was the last time someone wore such an outfit in this place. If you are like me, enjoy visiting the past, pack a piece of our vintage dresses when visiting historic locations and events. This is the way to experience the past.
Wearing our gowns to impress? Or just for leisure? You can enjoy comfort and style at the same time. Add a hoop skirt for a ball or leave it behind for a stroll.

Warm, sunny days should be spent at a park, under a tree, with a good book. @_goblinqueen_’s photo inspired me to put down my phone, grab a book and go find that most tranquil spot in my neighborhood park. But, let me share this photo first…
